Yup, we're having a girl! We found out today. The doctor was 90% sure, but he saw no manly bits, only the "three lines" that indicate a labia. Jeff is over the moon. I am thrilled as well. I was, however, convinced that it was a boy. But, since I'm never right, this is why I don't gamble and rarely play the lottery.
So in a month we go back for another ultrasound. The doctor at the hospital thinks it's wise since I had bariatric surgery in July to track how she's (SHE!!!) growing. She is currently 11 ounces and PERFECT. Her little heart was beating 150 beats per minute and the blood flow was great. Her little bladder was full and her kidneys looked great. All blood tests were the best they could be for downes and spinabifida. We are so happy that our little girl is healthy.
She was awfully shy today at the appointment and didn't want to show her girly bits. But she was moving and grooving and life is good.
